As a former U.S. Army Officer, Elaine is passionate about ending the epidemic of suicide among our military and veteran populations. Elaine brings a unique sensitivity to religious diversity to her counseling. A practicing Roman Catholic herself, Elaine works with individuals from numerous Christian denominations, as well as other eastern religions and philosophies. She knows God reaches out in many ways.
Life is very fast. When we slow down, listen, and allow God to come near, He provides the understanding and peace we seek. Often, we don’t listen until the pain of this world becomes too overwhelming. Fortunately, that’s where Christ meets us, whether we are broken, lost, angry, scared, or all of the above. God, the ultimate counselor, provides comfort, wisdom, and healing that we all need to recover, to renew, and, when we are ready, to rejoice!
Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
