to counselors
Raynette
holds a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling
from Loyola University. She is a member of the American
Counseling Association and the Maryland Association
of Mental Health. Raynette is a believer in Jesus Christ,
and became a member of her church where she has served
for the past 34 years. She believes she has a calling
from God to be a counselor and considers her work as
a ministry.
In addition to counseling, Raynette
enjoys serving the Body of Christ in many other capacities
that includes being a member of the Pastoral Staff of
her Church, lay speaker, Sunday school teacher, as well
as singing on the Praise Team. She is experienced with
working with men, women and adolescents having a variety
of mental health related issues. She especially has
a heart for adolescents and young adults. She finds
it most rewarding to be a conduit for God to support
them as they search, find and begin to walk in their
divine purpose.
A very compassionate Christian, Raynette
has a special heart for God’s people who are oppressed
and struggling, often wounded by their past traumas,
fears, doubts and insecurities. She believes that God
understands our hurts and pains and is able to bring
comfort as we journey on the path of healing and restoration
of our mind, body and soul.
Raynette is often encouraged
by her favorite scripture, Psalms 34:1-4, “I will
bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually
be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the
Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O’magnify
the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me
from all my fears.”
