Stefanie Peterson is a Master’s-level intern with Life Christian Counseling Network. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling through Regent University. She has a Master’s in Public Administration from Troy University and received her Bachelor of Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Stefanie previously served 17 years active duty in the Air Force as an Intelligence Officer. Since transitioning out of military service, she now works as an Operations Manager for Amazon.
As a veteran of the military, Stefanie has an interest in working with active military, veterans, and their families. She is also interested in working with individuals or couples who are experiencing issues related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-worth issues, PTSD, life-transitions, women’s issues, and spirituality. Stefanie has a passion for working with couples and helping them work through such issues as infidelity, culturally driven tensions, or long-term conflicts with the goal of helping couples save, heal, and restore their marriage if possible.
Stefanie strives to foster a warm, caring, and empathic therapeutic environment that is client focused. Stefanie uses an integrative approach to counseling using cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based approach integrating her Christian faith with evidence-based counseling practices.
