Veronica Palmer, CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR
Veronica Palmer, MA-Intern
Veronica is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern and military spouse with a deep passion for walking alongside individuals and families through life’s challenges. As a mother of four young boys, she has navigated the unique demands of military life, including multiple TDYs, deployments, and frequent moves to new duty stations. These experiences have shaped her understanding of resilience, transition stress, identity shifts, and the strength required to hold a family together during seasons of uncertainty.
Her Christian faith is the foundation of who she is and how she shows up as a counselor. In 2021, Veronica and her family came to faith in Jesus together. Since then, they have studied and practiced within the Catholic and Lutheran traditions before deciding to join the Orthodox church.. This journey has given her a rich appreciation for the spiritual search, the trials of faith, the power of surrender, and the miracles that unfold when we seek God. She understands what it means to wrestle with questions of meaning, identity, and purpose. She brings both empathy and respect to clients who desire to integrate their faith into the counseling process.
Veronica is currently completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while remaining sensitive to each client’s cultural, spiritual, and personal values. She is especially passionate about supporting military families, spouses, parents, and individuals navigating grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and spiritual formation.
Whether you are facing deployment cycles, parenting stress, faith-related questions, or simply feeling stuck, it would be an honor to walk with you toward healing, hope, and greater wholeness.
